7th October 2025- Turtly Tuesday
Today was our sixth day in a row taking So Wild out to South Solitary for a dive- and we want more! With a full boat of divers, we steamed out to the lighthouse and jumped in!
Dive one saw divers jump in and out at Shark Gutters. Visibility has improved and was 15-18metres all the way to the bottom of the sanctuary marker. grey Nurses showed themselves in numbers outside of the moorings, with a few cruising around inside of the swim through! Nudibranchs (once again) filled the gutters with their colours as we saw heaps and heaps! Cleaner Rock was teeming with fish life as well!
Dive two was a swim down to South Boulder, where we used the slight current to our advantage. A Green Sea Turtle was sleeping inside of Shark Gutters, with two intertwined White Eyed Moray Eels sitting just behind. The Boulder Wall had heaps of Bull Rays swimming up and down it! The Humpback whales were very vocal in the background on this dive.
Congratulations to Alakai who finished his PADI Open water diver Cert today!
