AOI 613 Fibre-Optic Cable for Strobes is designed to work with AOI Strobes along with other brands, however the 613 multiple strand cable is the most efficient cable especially when using “TTL” or “RC” modes. Other types do have multiple strands, but not as many as this 613 type.
The AOI 613 fibre-optic cable resists bending due to the multiple fibres in the cable. It has top of the range light-conducting efficiency. The AOI 613 Fibre Optic cable is designed to work with all strobes with Fibre Optic ability and fitted with the connections. (other plain end 613 Fibre Optic cables are available on request)
The connections are best known as “Sea and Sea” connections and any camera using the mask kit or Plug into Sea and Sea cameras and some Olympus and other brands. The new design of multi strand uses the best quality Fibre-Optic Cable and is composed of 613 fibres (cores). Even when the cable is bent, attenuation of light is minimal. Therefore, the light signal will be transmitted to a strobe without loss. Compared with single fibre cables , the Fibre-Optic Cable is more resistant to distortion, bending and physical impact.

Diameter of coils are 20mm and sizes available vary to suit application
Medium size lengths: 200MM / 155MM / 93MM with 33 coils typically suit Cameras with 7-9″ dual arms.
Small size lengths: 100MM / 75MM / 47MM with 17 coils suit smaller 7″ arms or strobes on Cold Shoe mounts.
Large size lengths: 200MM / 155MM / 139MM with 51 coils suits larger long 9″ and longer dual arms.
