Sharkskin Chillproof Long Sleeve Chest Zip – adjust your temperature!
The long sleeve vests are perfect worn as stand alone garments for a variety of activities, although they are still suitable for use under a wetsuit.
The Vest has a high, yet comfortable neck with a soft seal to prevent water from waves and wind entering the garment. The Zippered front allows you to adjust and control the heating effect of the sharkskin. This chest zipper also assist with getting into the sharkskin top, as it provides a wider neck. The vest also has reflective colour to keep you cool. Sleeves provide additional protection from cold and sun while preventing chaffing around the shoulders and arms especially when a PFD is worn.
This garment comes in Mens sizes XXS – 5XL, and Womens sizes 6-22.

What is ChillProof?
ChillProof is an aquatic specific, windproof, 3 layer composite material that has been developed for water sports athletes. The comfortable “micro fleece” layer is next to the skin and can help pull moisture and sweat away from the body to help keep you dry. The second middle ‘technical’ layer is 100% windproof, yet breathes to regulate body temperature whilst stopping wind chill. The third and outer layer is a nylon/lycra blend for abrasion resistance and 4 way stretch.
These three layers of SharkSkin when combined together provide the equivilant warmth of a 2.5 to 3mm wetsuit. Unlike a standard wetsuit, ChillProof material stops wind and chill. The ChillProof range is neutrally buoyant, antimicrobial, and odor and itch resistant. It’s also UV resistant for sun protection and has durable water repellent finish (DWR) to provide a protective shell that “sheds” water.
