The Bare 5mm/3mm Ultrawarmth Hooded Vest is the ultimate of undergarments. It has a 3mm vest paired with a 5mm vented hood, made with Bare’s OMNIRED material.
Bare Omnired utilises infared technology to keep you warmer. Infared technology is proven to help conserve lost body heat, and to accelerate thermal recovery. When surrounded in water, the body loses heat 25x faster than when exposed to air of the same temperature. The effects of temperature drop can last longer when out of the water after diving too. Using Bare’s Omnired technology is a no brainer.
The torso holds a large amount of the body’s warmth, so adding a hooded vest can help retain this warmth.
The Ultrawarmth Vest features Bare’s “Gen 2” hood vent. This allows for trapped air to escape, without allowing water to enter. The face seal is the same as found on the neck of bare wetsuits. made to seal smooth against your skin to prevent water ingress. This material continues around the neck to ensure a comfortable seal. The hood also features a grip pad on the back of the head, designed for your mask to sit into. This is a huge benefit for those who use noprene mask tamers, as it will help hold onto that strap!
Jetty Dive Review:
Mike has one of these vests and loves it! He paired it with his 5mm wetsuit during winter (when he would normally wear a 7mm!) and found himself toasty throughout both dives! Mike has loaned the vest to multiple people to try under their wetsuits and everybody who has tried it has purchased it. I think thats speaks for itself!
