The Woolamai Kids Mask, Snorkel and Fins Set is an awesome little snorkelling set for kids and juniors! Consisting of a pair of flexible and durable fins that are adjustable to grow with your child, a mask with an adjustable strap, and a ‘dry’ snorkel the set is user friendly and looks good for the kids too! The set comes in a handy storage bag that fits everything in it, with a mesh bottom to help drain water out as you’re on your way to the next adventure!

Fins
The fins in the Woolamai set has a comfortable rubber foot pocket which covers multiple shoe sizes. Additionally, it features adjustable straps around the heel. This is an key feature in kids fins as their little feet can grow so quickly! Having an adjustable strap means you’ll get more years use with the fins while they grow. The fins are constructed with a durable, flexible plastic with rubber detailing. Durability is another important thing to look for, as kids often stand up on fins (even when they’re told not to!), and with standard fins that aren’t flexible, they could very easily snap clean in half. The fin blade has an enlarged paddle shape which gives more power behind each kick (good for little legs!) with gaps in the plastic to help reduce the drag of each kick.
These fins are designed to be worn with bare feet – reef shoes or little dive boots will not fit in these foot pockets.
Mask
The mask is made with a liquid silicone skirt, ensuring a water-tight seal on your kids face to prevent leaks! The mask has easily-adjusted buckles attaching the strap, making it easier to get a good fit. The lenses of the mask have a slight tint to them, which not only looks nice but helps filter out a bit of glare and brightness when outdoors!
The mask is made with a silicone skirt and strap, and tempered glass lens.
Snorkel
The Woolamai Snorkel is packed full of features! It has a one-way valve (a ‘purge’ valve) on the bottom, which can help drain water out of the snorkel if it does get in. If your kids are more advanced snorkellers, or good learners, they can also clear the snorkel with a quick burst of air out of their mouth, which will force the water out of this one way valve. On the top of the snorkel there is a ‘dry valve’. This has a component that floats, so if kids dive under the water this floating component seals off the top of the snorkel, preventing water ingress. These features are great for helping keep the snorkelling an enjoyable experience for the kids! Plus the snorkel has an easy to use clip to attach it to the mask, so you don’t have to waste time fiddling around with finicky clips.
Sizing
This set comes in two size options. The sizes are only different on the fins, the mask and snorkels are all the same size, so you want to purchase based on your kids foot size.
- Small to Medium: Suitable for kids aged 5-8. This is shoe size kids 9 – kids 13
- Large to X-Large: Suitable for kids aged 9-11. This is shoe size Adults 1-4.
Remember the fins are adjustable! We recommend if your kid is towards the end of the small-medium sizing to size up so you get more wear time out of the fins!
